For homeowners in default, have you tried to get help?

Before you consider a short sale, and before you let your house foreclose… have you exhausted all attempts to save your home?  First, have you called your lender?  Many lenders have programs to help homeowners.  Sometimes a simple interest rate adjustment may help, sometimes a “short refinance” can be the solution.  But whatever may help you, do you know there are FREE HUD approved housing counseling agenies to help?

From the www.HUD.gov website, and to get more resources around the Bay Area and California visit their site: HUD COUNSELING RESOURCES, PREDATORY LENDING, DEFAULT COUNSELING
